Predictions for 2009

January

Economy:

• I wish I could say it was going to get better but there will be a lot of jobs on the line and more downsizing.

Weather:

• January will be up and down throughout the month, starting out wet and cold.  You can expect to see below zero temperatures and then back up again.  There will be two major storms ; one might have significant ice and then warmer temperatures will pervail.

Politics:

• On the political scene we will see a regrouping with Bush leaving and Obama coming in. 
• There will be two or three more in the political arena who will be exposed for having their hands in the cookie jar.
• Obama will do some cleaning out of "bad apples."
• Patterson - what the heck!  That about sums up what I can say about him.

Summary of January:

January will be a quiet month with no big world news.  Stocks will be up and down.
